Congratulations Winners!

I was honored to be a judge on behalf of On Display Men for the 2008 Express Men of the Year male models contest. I have to say it was a hard decision to cast my votes with so many excellent models and photographers. Both winners will have the opportunity to work with On Display Men on a feature in 2008! Wait no more... the envelope please Jason...


This year's winner of ExpressMEN model for 2008 is: Jerald. Jason quoted him to say:

"as a young boy, i longed to be a naval officer like my father. growing up, i always wanted to be as chiseled and well-groomed as the males in advertising. but being a filipino in america, i knew that my chances of making it big in this country would be slim. as i matured, i realized that the lack of philippine representation in main-stream media was a good tool in motivating me to try to break into that industry. if there aren't many filipino male models in america, then why not be one of the first to inspire others."

This year's winner of ExpressMEN photographer for 2008 is: Ethan James. He was recently quoted to say:



"i believe in reflecting the real image of the subject, there is no specific type, age, height or race, my photography is about the individual, our differences are what makes the images so powerful"
